About me
Welcome to Driftwood and Ink.
Hi, my name is Trish, and I am a writer who is passionate about the art of storytelling and its ability to connect and inspire. My work delves into themes of love, sacrifice, resilience, and identity, and explores how everyday experiences hold profound meaning and reveal the complexities of human nature. I write with the intention of creating narratives that resonate and linger long after the last page is turned.
Born in Florida and raised in the small island community of Fernandina Beach, my writing recalls personal memories, places, and people who have impacted my life in the most extraordinary ways. Whether I am writing fiction, essays, reflections of self, or poetry, I aim to create work that feels honest, accessible, and resonant.
After winning first place in both statewide and collegiate-level writing competitions, I am both excited and hopeful to bring my writing to a wider audience and am currently actively seeking publishing opportunities.
Alongside my family, I now call Charleston, South Carolina, home. In my free time, I love attending live concerts, soaking in the beauty of the outdoors, prioritizing my health at the gym, and exploring new places through travel. I am also dedicated to my educational pursuits, and always striving to grow both as a person and as a writer.
